Save for the future.
Save in Bitcoin.

Dollar-cost averaging is a great tool to overcome any short-term volatility and take advantage of Bitcoin’s long-term growth. Set up a recurring Bitcoin purchase, minimize the negative effect of market fluctuations, and drift towards a financially independent future.

1

The coin of choice

Bitcoin is the most established and reputable cryptocurrency to date. Next to other coins (and even some fiat currencies), its economy and technology is the most secure, stable, decentralized, and accessible. This makes Bitcoin a smart investment both financially and socially.

2

Protection by regularity

Bitcoin can be subject to higher market volatility than more traditional investments. Regular purchases can protect you against ups and downs in the market while building your nest egg for the future.

3

Future-proof portfolio

Bitcoin is a modern asset that’s found its way to nearly every diverse portfolio. Its long-term trend has been decisively upward and we’re seeing many institutions and even some countries adopt it. All of that suggests that Bitcoin is one to watch for the future.

Mobile app FAQ

Everything you need to know about the Invity mobile app for a safe & simple crypto experience.

We see Bitcoin as the ideal first step for new users and the most sensible cryptocurrency to invest in. As such, we are currently focused mostly on improving our features and interface. However, in the future, we do plan to expand our portfolio and support new coins in order to meet our users’ needs.
Find all our current fees below. At Invity, you will never encounter any hidden fees.
Buy (card): Payment fee — 2.5%; Service fee — 1.49%
Sell (Card payout): Payment fee — 2.5%; Service fee — 2%
Send: No withdrawal fee, only blockchain (network) fee applied
If you want to withdraw some or all of your bitcoin from the Invity app to a different wallet, simply navigate to the Send function of the app. Once there, you enter the receiving Bitcoin address and the amount you wish to withdraw. Other than the blockchain fee, you will not pay anything to withdraw your funds.
Please note that by law, you are only allowed to send bitcoin to a wallet that you own and have sole access to.
You can currently buy bitcoin using most Visa, MasterCard, Maestro credit or debit cards, as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay. We are working on adding SEPA bank transfers for buying in the near future. When selling bitcoin, you can currently receive your funds via a card payout. We are working on adding SEPA transfers for selling in the near future.
We currently implement minimum limits of €10 when buying and €100 when selling bitcoin.
Dollar-cost averaging (DCA) is an investment method, where instead of buying one big chunk of bitcoin, you make regular smaller investments. As you invest over time, the market’s ups and downs become less pronounced and you end up buying for the average cost. DCA is perfect if you don’t have the time to constantly monitor the markets, and still want to build long-term savings.
When buying bitcoin in the Invity app, you can simply select to make your purchase recurring, enter the desired frequency, and your very own DCA plan is set up!
KYC stands for Know Your Customer. It is a process that financial institutions and other regulated companies use to verify the identity of their clients or customers. In order to provide you any of our services, we are obliged by law to verify your identity. The Invity mobile app will prompt you to complete KYC once you try to make a transaction.
We will ask you to take a picture of an ID document and a selfie of yourself. Your credentials are gathered automatically and verified via SumSub, one of the most reputable and secure verification platforms which is integrated directly into our app.
Please note that due to anti-money laundering legislation there are several occasions when we might need to verify your identity in more detail. These situations are:
  • When we find out that a bitcoin address you used to send to or receive bitcoins from the Invity app has a significant percentage of risk factors (see “Know Your Transaction" below).
  • When you try to use a payment method (e.g. a credit card) that does not belong to you to buy bitcoin in the Invity app.
  • When you try to use a bank account that does not belong to you to receive funds from selling bitcoin in the Invity app.
  • When you perform transactions over €15,000.
  • When your behavior on the platform signals a high risk of money laundering or financing terrorism (such as frequently repeated buys and sells within a short period of time).

The additional verification may include:
  • Pictures of an additional identity document
  • Proof of source of the fiat funds you used to buy bitcoin on our platform
  • Proof of your residence address
  • Proof of ownership of the bitcoin address you used to send or receive bitcoin
KYT stands for Know Your Transaction. It is an anti-money laundering (AML) compliance measure used by financial institutions to prevent financial crimes such as money laundering, terrorist financing, and fraud. In our case, it means that we are legally required to assess the risk of each bitcoin address from which you send bitcoin to our platform, or to which you send bitcoins from our platform.
Certain risk factors will trigger additional identity verification, while others can force us to even freeze your funds.
If a bitcoin address used for a transaction is known to be associated with any of the following activities, we will be forced to freeze your funds:
    • Child exploitation
    • Darknet marketplace
    • Darknet service
    • Fraudulent exchange
    • Illegal service
    • Ransom
    • Sanctions
    • Scam
    • Stolen coins
    • Terrorism financing
The following risk factors may trigger additional verification of your identity and funds, or even account termination. However, your funds will not be frozen:
    • Enforcement action
    • Unlicensed exchange
    • Unlicensed P2P exchange
    • Gambling
    • Liquidity pools
By law, we are obliged to report the details about you and the transaction to the authorities. Unless we are specifically instructed otherwise, we will contact you with a procedure and the next steps you need to take. You can always contact us at support@invity.io and we will provide you with more information.
Invity is what is called a "custodial app", meaning that your funds are safely held by a qualified custodian in a secure environment.
We work with BitGo Inc., a global leader in institutional custody and one of most secure and reputable providers there is. The funds are insured and fully under ownership of each user, with Invity and BitGo only acting as intermediaries and custodians.

We use the following third parties that store some of your personal data:
